Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership & program management
  • Lead the total absence management program to include: Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absence, Injury Prevention/ Return-To-Work Programs, Wellness Programs, Regulatory Compliance, Clinical Operations, Data Management and Technology Integration, Budget & Financial Oversight, Oversight of outsourced, contractual relationships, Committee/ Board Participation & Special Projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
  • National certification in Occupational Health Nursing preferred.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a large, acute care health system with employee or occupational health experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in managing absence management programs to include workers compensation and leave of absence.
